Terms & Conditions

Payment

An invoice will be issued at the time of your booking and payment in full is required at least 45 days in advance of the start date of your trip in order to confirm any trip within the contiguous United States.

For expeditions in Alaska or internationally, a deposit of $3,000 is required at the time of your booking. Payment in full is required at least 60 days prior to the start date of your trip.

Cancellations

All cancelations must be made in writing to Splitter Alpine Adventures. For trips within the contiguous United States, cancellations made before 45 days from the trip start date are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made up to 15 days from the trip start date are eligible for a refund of 50% of trip cost. Cancellations made within 14 days of the trip start date are not eligible for a refund. If your guide cancels your trip due to safety considerations, a full refund will be issued.

For expeditions in Alaska or internationally the required deposit is non-refundable due to the significant up front costs and logistical preparation. Splitter Alpine Adventures will make all possible efforts to work with you to apply a credit towards a rescheduled trip but all adjustments are at the guide’s discretion.

Logistical Adjustments

All trips are subject to changes in the itinerary based on the guide’s discretion and current conditions. Your guide will make every possible attempt to maintain the original goal of the trip. Any additional expenses incurred due to a change/cancellation of the original itinerary is solely the responsibility of the trip participant and will not be compensated by Splitter Alpine Adventures.

Travel Insurance

Splitter Alpine Adventures does not cover unforeseen additional costs associated with rescue/evacuation, travel adjustments/delays, lost luggage, inclement weather, and/or any other unexpected expenses. It is strongly recommended that all participants purchase travel insurance to cover these costs.

Photography Release

Splitter Alpine Adventures may use any photographs and/or video footage from your trip for promotional, social media, and/or commercial purposes.
